Enlightenment Meditation
Enlightenment meditation is the way that connects our heart, mind and intellect allowing us to align our understanding with the Cosmic and Universal Force which pushes our lives and our world towards perfection. It is the source of harmony between the opposing natural laws that causes all of life to progress, in spite of the appearances of the surface. Your responsibility is not to work against Cosmic Intelligence, consciously or unconsciously. But to do whatever it takes to step forward and unite with one voice of understanding and praise for the Source of all that is.
The simple guiding principle here is this: if we are sowing division, preaching destruction, seeking evil in the world, then we are part of the problem and not the solution.
I invite you to take this journey inward. I invite you to use meditation as a tool to dive within and seek the answers to your life questions. Attaining Enlightenment is at hand, Here and Now. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
What is meditation?
Meditation is a way of taking the mind sometimes called “The Monkey Mind, Noise or Internal Chatter” that is constantly jumping between the past and future into the timeless present moment. If you observe the nature of the mind, you will observe or feel that it tends to bring with it the pain of the past and worry of the future. An untrained mind that is scattered can truly accomplish nothing, simply because any thoughts beyond the present moment carry with it a high degree of uncertainty. This is the number one culprit of stress, emotional turbulence and illnesses.
Therefore, meditation is a way of living as opposed to existing. It enables one to live a Life that is free, unbounded and carries with it the potential to express creativity at its finest. The cessation of the thought process frees up the mind from repetitive thoughts of the past and thus, promotes awareness and new profound experiences that is said to be the by-product or the early stages of enlightenment.
The Benefits of Meditation?
Extensive studies have been done on meditation in psychology labs and reduced to formulas like the Relaxation Response that is a technique for eliminating stress. Yet it has never entirely lost its spiritual roots. In fact, the reason meditation works so effectively is that it connects you with a mystical dimension, which different commentators give different names, but I like to call it simply, ‘being’.
Practicing daily helps you develop inner resilience, balance, and strength to roll with the punches and come up with creative solutions.
The benefits would also include:
- Stronger focus and concentration
- Reduced tension, anxiety, and stress
- Clearer thinking and less emotional turmoil
- Lower blood pressure and cholesterol
- Support in kicking addictions and other self-defeating behaviors through awareness
- Greater creativity and enhanced performance in work and play
- Increased self-understanding and self-acceptance
- More joy, love, and spontaneity
- Greater connection with friends and family members
- Deeper sense of meaning and purpose
- Glimpses of a spiritual dimension of being
